I just used two mini ones, only because i had them and they work fine.

Just give a good twist or put a piece of wood on the back panel and lean on it. Sounds brutal but it works.

I am with Peter James and had the misfortune to breakdown and used their cover. 30minutes till AA van arrived couldn't tow being auto.... 20 mins later recovery wagon arrived and took me 15 miles home and even helped me push in the garage. Must have been a quiet day for them, as i have heard ...

Pretty sure it would Dave. If something is fitted it has to work, i know you fail them if they are seized up and you can't blank them off as a fix. Depends how friendly you are with the tester.

It is apparently a fault in the box, my auto Dolly doesn't but my 2.5S does Both drive perfectly and the S has been doing it for 8 plus years.

I've never used sealant on a head gasket in over 40 years (and never will) and I've never come across anyone that does. If the block and/or the head is not flat or are pitted badly then they need to be machined flat or replaced.
