Re: Windscreen

Don't know if you are still looking for a front windscreen., I have an earlier Triplex "Zebra Zone" which I no longer need. Based in North East Lincolnshire.

Re: dolomite insurance valuation

This is a very interesting topic. In my many years of experience of owning and insuring classic cars I have had membership of a good few owners clubs. I have to say that in general clubs tend to undervalue cars. I have just taken out Agreed Value Insurance for my 1500HL agreed at £12.5K. The car is ...

Re: 1500HL Workshop Manual

I reduced the file size to make it easier to download sorry if it is now fuzzy. I think there is a clearer version here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B_CE2l4Osa3SfnZpNzR3enhsRTdvNnZ2ZnVjMEd1aUhob3JNMDVtNzNObkFGM1kzVVR4eFk?usp=sharing Thanks Steve, this is a much better link thanks, now I...

1500HL Workshop Manual

Is there such a thing as an AKM3627 Workshop Manual that can be downloaded. I have a Toledo workshop and parts manual but can only find a Parts Manual for the Dolomite. Thanks.

Re: Rustbuster Epoxy 121 Review

Thanks, pleased you appreciate the work I've put in. I must add that I am retired and got most of my jobs around the home sorted during lockdown so what do I do but wash and polish under the car. The car has never been restored and the paintwork is 80% original so I left all the black running gear as...

Re: Rustbuster Epoxy 121 Review

This is all very interesting and having used the product 4 years ago I remain very happy with the results. It will however chip off (like any paint) so I always try to avoid roads where surface dressing has been carried out but of course I would do this with any car to protect the paintwork. It is q...

Toledo fuel pump cross reference

Hello, according to my parts catalogue my 1975 Toledo is fitted with a RKC 1624 fuel pump. It appears that the "modern" pattern parts are not too reliable But I have been offered a New Old Stock AC XP1481. Does anyone know if this will fit or know a link to enable me to cross reference it ...

Re: Overhauling a steering rack

Thanks for the 2 replies. The gaiters were in good condition so they went back on. Having read the detailed instructions on the rebuild I decided that I would let my mechanic friend to do the job whilst I read the instructions and learned from watching the expert. The biggest problem we had was that...

Inter Club Triumph Weekend Stratford upon Avon

Have we been invited to this event or indeed does anyone intend to go. It runs over the weekend of 16-18 August at the Stratford upon Avon Racecourse. I hope to be there but not sure if it will be the Saturday or Sunday when I go. I presume we can pay at the gate.

Hi there, do give our team a call and we will see if we can help. The office number is 01455 639 000. Many thanks, Hannah Hello Hannah, I did ring Classiclineinsurance and it was your company who told me that because the car would be used occasionally to commute to work any quote you gave would not...

Re: Classic car insurance

Thanks for all the advice, I've now got it sorted. All four of our family do use the car on occasions and at times do use it to commute to work (that did make things slightly more complicated). Having had a good search round and did manage to get the cover I required and managed to save £90 on my re...
