Those repairs on the bottoms of the doors really make my teeth itch! Why not just take a bit more time and actually fix them properly than literally tacking a piece of metal over the top of the grot.

I've (badly) plug welded up the outer arch to the inner. Will need more work to clean this up as I've managed to blow holes on the edge where the inner didn't quite meet with the outer. I may even try seam welding it, but it'll be a grim job with the drum in the way.

That looks like a lot off work there , did you just make small repair sections for the inner arch,ive got both inner arches to do on mine,i bought an inner arch from Rimmers both it doesnt fit

After finally getting another project/distraction done, today I had some time to get more of this Dolomite done. My plan is to finish the offside and then put it away so I can get on with other projects that have been put off too long and desperately needing attention.

I wasn't at first, but I had a look through of the pictures from a couple of months ago and that helps to see what needed reconstruction.

Got on with the front inner membrane this weekend. Took way longer than I hoped.

Cut out the old front bit.

First job was to weld in the piece that was clamped up a few months ago. Also welded a bit more up on the inner membrane. I have a new panel that I could replace all this, however I'm keen to keep most of what I can as some of it is in good shape and ...

Looks like youve got your hands full with this car,my car rusted in the same places as yours along the sills and rear arch plus the sill step what are your inner arches like

I'm trying to figure out what the "Front Outer Valance End Repairs" (K) relate to. Is there any parts breakdown diagrams that point to which it is part of?

My Sprint seats are very worse for wear. Ignoring the ripped vinyl on the front of the driver's seat, the foam is well and truly a flat crumbly mess. Once I finally get it back on the road, I know the metal framework of the seat base digging in will spoil any enjoyment driving the car.

Finished the inner wing area off. This was a right pia to do as the outer wing is in place and room is tight. As this will be hidden by a shield, I didn't grind it completely flat either. Need to bend that bit sticking back out to give somewhere for the shield to bolt onto.

These cars are treasured vehicles now and aren't (at least shouldn't!) be outside in all weathers. So if I can sufficiently protect these, I should be able to prolong the life of them.
