Hi guys
Hoping to take a drive up from south wales on sunday in my father in laws 1850, and some friends said they might tag along with us.
will they be able to park with us at the show or will they have to park somewhere else because they wont be in triumphs?

Thanks once again everyone contacted JPAT, and seal is on its way £3.99 inc postage.
will give an update when i get a chance to put it all back together.

ps they told me that the seal is the same in the bw35 and the bw65

This may be a silly question,but are all bw 65 gearbox's the same for all different makes of cars or are they individual to the make triumph,rover jag etc.
I contacted Chris witor to check if the seal RTC39RM-T was the one i need for the dolly and he said he was 90% sure but not certain so don't ...

Had a productive weekend, And managed to get the engine and box out.

split the box off the engine,and can see the front pumpseal that harvey mentioned.

I checked the shaft on the torque converter ...

Hi guys,
if i remove the engine and box together,is it easier to lift out through the bay or drop it down on the subframe?

Thanks for the reply Harvey,
As you may have guessed i have no experience with auto gearbox's at all.
when it got back from the first short run after we refilled it, there was a small puddle of oil forming underneath it but i thought it could just have been some residual oil running off everything ...

just signed up to the site on behalf of my father in law.He's just bought himself a dolly 1850hl auto off ebay.
unfortunatly an hour into the four hour drive home the gearbox ejected most of its atf onto the road,and i've now been tasked with trying to fix it.
