Re: Hopeful new owner HNJ484N

By way of quick update, car successfully moved from Worthing to its new home in Hatfield, Herts one cold weekend in Dec. The kids have renamed it 'Max' in memory of their great grandfather who owned the car before us. Lots of paperwork detailing history including dealership receipt, looks like Max ...

Re: Advice on 2nd hand Panels

Thanks for your replies, ive bought a boot lid and two rear doors from ebay, hopefully collect from the understanding seller when and if we come out of lockdown ! I shall inspect the wing closer and see if we can repair as would prefer to keep rather than go down the fiberglass route.

Re: Car Trailer/Transport

:lol: don't worry, i'm okay for that, i'm the right side of 50 depending which you you look at it !

I just need to check weights as the self drive option will take a load up to 1.5t which i'm guessing a Dolomite 1850 auto will be under (i will check the specs online)

Re: Car Trailer/Transport

Thanks fro the replies, really useful and i like the self drive transporter option, less hassle than towing and pretty reasonable!

Shiply rough quote £192
Self drive car transporter - £105 a day inc 250 miles (Hatfield to Worthing 105miles)

Trailer hire roughly £85 day;

I've got the opportunity to save my late grandfather (in laws) Dolomite, i think its a 1975 1850HL Auto in a rather tired ...
