Try Fitchetts they'll very likely have some. Andy or Tony there will sort you out. 01952 619585

Re: Dolomite Sprint - £32,950.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, this is one reason why they’ll never fetch Mk1/Mk2 Escort prices, because every time one is advertised with an optimistic price tag, it is talked down on here.

Oil filter bowl - what washers are inside ?

Hello Everyone, we're starting to finish off the engine build ( exciting stuff) and I'm trying to work out what I need for inside the filter bowl (want to keep it original)

I have the long bolt and it's sealing washer. I then have a spring, retaining clip and the adapter which pushes up into the ...

IWIS timing chain for Sprint ??

Does anyone know where I can buy an IWIS chain ?

Tried the usual (and obvious) suspects none of whom seem to have anything and I'd really like it to a proper IWIS one....

Surely there must be some out there !

TIA

Re: Sprint pistons ?

That's a brilliant answer and thanks for taking that time - really appreciate it.

Yes, Ron is brilliant - he used to run the Chrysler works team in the 70s and has won loads of championships. Still works 7 days a week and he's in Telford ( looks like you're West Mids too ??)

I'll have a chat with ...
