pre production sprint?
On my travels today Hellingly Festival of Transport there was what looked like a Sprint, but had no sprint badges, and some paperwork to say it was one of a few 1972 cars and was about one of 150 cars called a Triumph 135? was it realtor a spoof?

Re: Dolomite sprint wheels
Deffo not flat seat, the seat within the nut hole is 45deg taper, whereas most taper seats are 60degs, after talking to Compomotive today the thought the wheels would have had a 45 degree taper insert with a internal 60 degree taper, now you have confirmed they have no inserts in the sprint wheels, ...

Re: [Dolomite 1500] Wheel Size and Other Options
Ooooh Wheel options, scouring the internet whilst laid up from a prolapsed disc, I found what looked like a very dodgy advert on Facebook Selling for a friend ETC, Far too cheap, Cash only, and Far to Far away (but not in another Galaxy), so of course I bought them, knowing exactly what they were, A...

Re: Engine swaps and the DVLA: Resolved
I had my Toledo 16v tested last year, I was told by the tester it only needed to be a visual test, mind he did notice the front wheel bearing was a touch loose, despite being tightened just prior to the test, I think they are Chineseium specials, and generally last about a year,

Re: Canine Friends
I have my pooch strapped in the back of our Toledo, as stated above, there are plugs under the rear seat, I used a cheap seatbelt off Amazon, but only used the buckle, also from Amazon was a fly buckle to attach the dog collar to the seatbelt, all in all it took about 20 mins to fit, I dont think it...

Re: Panhard Bar
Fiesta XR2 bracket welded to boot floor. There is also reinforcement inside the boot as well. Couldn’t get any photos inside boot today. The panhard rod at normal ride height needs to be dead level to get the the full benefit. Axle isn’t at or anywhere near ride height at the moment. https://i.ibb....

Re: Panhard Bar
I honestly can't see the point of adding a panhard rod to a Dolomite. On a Fiesta, there are a pair of trailing arms and a pair of coilovers, like a Dolomite. But the Dolomite has it's angled upper trailing arms to keep the axle centred where the Fiesta has a Panhard rod instead. The Panhard rod is...

Re: Panhard Bar
There are downsides to the panhard bar, one being the axle will be kept in place but arc around the opposing pivot point of the bar. so it needs to be as long as possible and equally mounted side to side. the shorter the bar the more likely of "Body Jack", Watts link will keep the axle par...
