Hi,

I can confirm that I have 4 cowls (2xRH, 2xLH). PM me if interested still.

Cheers, Frank

Re: 1300TC Wing Badge Hole Position

No thread to show the restoration as a body shop is doing it for me and they still have all the photos. Am going down to see them tomorrow, so will have a think about how to capture the hole measurements. I doubt anybody else will need these as there are so few TC knocking about. Thanks for your ...

Re: 1300TC Wing Badge Hole Position

Just been down to the body-shop this morning. Looks like the old wings are still there after all. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks, Frank

1300TC Wing Badge Hole Position

Hi,
My 1300TC is soon to come out of the paint shop. The old front wings have been disposed of (unbeknowns by me), so we have no template to drill holes for the "TC" wing badges. Anybody know the exact position/size that these holes need to be?

Cheers, Frank

Re: 1300 Update time (Very Pic Heavy)

Do you need a small gasket between the reverse switch and the engine back cover?

Re: 1300 Update time (Very Pic Heavy)

Hi James, some great work there, really interesting. I have a few of questions.....

1) The polybush set - where did you purchase and how did you specify (I ask because I have never seen a polybush set for the 1300fwd)
2) Did the poly bush set make a great difference? Would you recommend it? I ask ...

Lucas Distributor swap

Does anybody know if Lucas 45D4 and 25D4 distributors are easily interchangeable? Can I just drop a 45D4 into my 1300FWD?

Re: TDCIR 2012 Sunday 2nd September

Great turn out - weather good - great day. Thank you to the organisers. My scabby 1300TC behaved impeccably - so all was good.

Re: Recommendation for a good bodyshop WANTED

Hi Stan,

Thanks - just taken a look at WINS web sites stock list. I hadn't previously, because I didn't see the web address in the advert in "Dolly Mixture", and assumed they didn't have one (durrrrgh !). I'll add them to my list and send an enquiry tomorrow.

Many Thanks

Re: Recommendation for a good bodyshop WANTED

Hi All,

Just an update. I've spoken to a couple of bodyshops and the body does need to go onto a jig. As feared I need to find some new parts - so the hunt is on for

2 x Front outer wings
2 x Headlight bezels
1 x Radiator Support Assembly (inc front grille)
1 x Bonnet (existing one may not be ...
