I’m given to believe that this same setup was used on Ford Escorts, Capris and Cortinas of the late sixties and early seventies as well as other Triumphs such as the GT6.
Some years ago I saw new replica levers for sale on eBay under the GT6 heading. I can’t see them on eBay today I’m afraid.

Hmmm....
Yeah the quality of many is shocking.
However there is a British manufacturer still making quality hose clips, namely JCS.
This is what I use. You pay for what you get.
Thanks
Ian

Yes…..
Thanks Howard the registration is helpful….
I have just done a Gov check and it is showing as SORNed.
It also states the engine capacity is 1854 so now longer TR7 powered?
The main thing is, it is still in existence, maybe just used for the summer?
Thanks
Ian

The Special One?
I miss Jon Tilson from this forum. A lot.
He very often talked about his early Dolomite to which he he had fitted a TR7 engine, this obviously being his favourite.
I remember that after Jon sadly passed away this car was sold, but whatever happened to it?

Further to my previous post....
I can suggest an alternative....
You can buy the joints and shafts from kit car suppliers
such as Car Builder Supplies.
The spline size is 9/16" x 36.
The shafts CBS sell are 250mm so will need shortening for your Dolomite.
It is necessary to weld a sleeve to join the two cut sections, CBS ...

Aye it is……,
So what is this pre-stretched chain?
Good to see you back on here Robert.
To only partly answer your question, they (German made) pre-stretched were sold for slant four engines
in both simplex and duplex versions as an alternative to the original.
I have no experience of either pre-stretched ...

Hmmm....
Some time ago I did consider a Mondeo concentric slave but ruled it out
