Brake pipes

Hi

Am I correct in thinking someone in the club can make up / sell a new set of brake pipes?

Anyone point me in the right direction or drop me a PM?

Many thanks

Re: Sprint clutch reservoir

Thanks for the replies...

Hadn't spotted the Rimmers offering although definitely interested in a servicable original as they do look better.

What sort of price?

Cheers

Sprint clutch reservoir

Anyone know if epoxy putty products or similar would be sufficient to fill a pin hole in the bottom of the clutch reservoir?

Don’t remember seeing replacement reservoirs available or do I need to go for plastic?

Thanks

Re: Sorn

My can has been untaxed since 94. I recently tried to sorn it on the DVLA system - you can go through the motions, however the status didn't change after a few days so I mailed them to see what was wrong.

Basically confirming what has already been said, here is their response -

Re: Replacement battery....

Thanks for the suggestions - I shall go spend some money and hopefully report back that it's started for the first time in 10+ years!! (It still turns freely)

Replacement battery....

Hi

I need to get a new battery for my Sprint - any suggestions as to a decent one?

I've seen halfords HB038 as a possible if it's up to the job?

Thanks

Re: The time has come......

Well, after some sleepless nights trying to decide what to do and a lack of support from the rest of the family(!) I'm going to let my Sprint go to someone who can give it a good home :snivel: No doubt end up on ebay if anyone's interested (don't want to break any rules listing directly on here)

Re: The time has come......

Thanks - I'll give them a call. Steve is not too far from me by the look of it so might be able to take a look and assess the condition.

I'm certainly looking for a good job - even as a rolling restoration it needs to be done properly. If it's going to be beyond my budget then I will sell the car ...

The time has come......

First post, so I'll start by saying hello !

I own a 1975 Sprint which used to be my daily runner but go laid up with a clutch problem (hydraulics I'm hoping - but will come back to that another day!)

So it's been standing around for a while - about 17 years  - I've decided I need to do ...
