Just read this. Very sorry to read about Ted. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times.

One particular memory was the time when he showed me his Carmine Sprint engine bay, complete with his re-routing of the water system in copper pipe! 8). A smashing chap and an all round good egg!

Hello Mart. B&Q sell solid beech worktops. I think they are 20mm high rather than the laminate 25mm..quite a bit cheaper too!

Once oiled, they have a lovely natural look and feel to them. 8)

I have one of those Chris Witor tanks, i dont know if bought the first one as it didn't fit at all and had to go back for major modification.

The build quality is very good, but i think mine was the prototype, as it came back from being modified and still had issues.

It fits it the car really ...

Fabulous work Matt! You are spot on about the new paint..that lovely blue is a great motivator to getting the car done. 8)

Hopefully, I will get to see it in the flesh this year! Another one on the road can only ever be a good thing. :)

Yep, a couple of mm under the swage line..just as the panel flattens out. It's good that you will sort out the doors before the stripes..otherwise, if you adjust them after, the stripes will be misaligned..nightmare! :evil: Enjoy! 8)
