Hello everyone,

I have a Lotus Super seven replica (as in my profile picture - Robinhood MY 1977) with a Triumph dolomite Sprint engine (the Slant 4 - 16 valve) that starts this year to lose compression in 3 of the 4 cylinders (it was rebuilt in 2014 in Germany, I think now, without rework of cylinders...). The valves and head are checked and ok.

The problem could be now in the engine block and/or pistons-con rods.

I live in Germany and here there's no possibility to get a engine re-drilled (for reasonable cost) or good job on English motors and i don't know how to solve that problem.

Does someone has a running Sprint engine for sale? Or to exchange with a ones to restore?

Thank you!

Matteo
