The rear exhaust hanger is missing on VA485 so I need to source one. It is the exhaust hanger bracket that bolts to the inside near side rear wheel arch. It is the double version for the Sprint standard exhaust.

If you have a spare please let me know.

Thanks

Tony

I was in a similar situation, when taking the exhaust apart to replace the (one) centre box the rear bodged up soft metal hanger disintegrated
I found one on ebay so though all was going to be ok, its arrived but I find that holes in the bracket match nothing that I can see.
So the bodged up one must have just been added but not made up to fit where the original was.

Can anyone put a pick of where the real one is supposed to attach to the car and what it looks like when all is good

this the nasty one that was attcahed

Here is mine nearly ready to go

and here is where the nasty one was in the rear wheel arch

I had a similar problem. The original bracket was missing as someone had fitted a sports exhaust. The original mounting holes had been covered over with under seal. I did find them, cleaned them out and ran a tap through the captive nuts to clean the threads.

Not the best picture as it is zoomed in but can see it between the wheel and the arch. Which will give an idea of its location. That side of the car is not accessible at the moment to get a better picture

Thanks People and Marshman
When I posted this originally I cocked up and then did a second on the main forum

I thought this one had been deleted but obviously not, and in my ignorance hadn't realized there were replies
I have had some help from James R as well and can confirm that after a good clean I found the two original holes and have made it functional again
