Good evening all, I hope you are all keeping safe and well in these difficult times.
My late Dad was a keen member of the TDC and had lovingly restored his 1500 FWD, as well as owning a Dolomite at one point (which he then used as a donor car).
When my Dad passed away, the car was passed on to another member of the family and subsequently sold on. I do hope the car (SWH 439J) is still being cared for and enjoyed by a member of this club.
My Mum and I have used the lockdown to do a variety of jobs including a load of tidying and sorting out. During this process we have uncovered a number of different parts including the following:
- 2 new Headlamps
- A number of sheets of Car Window Glass
- Steering Column with switches and steering wheel
- A couple of hydraulic cyclinders
- Brand new seat belts
- As well as boxes of various car parts.
We have hired a skip to clear everything out over the next week. I would hate for these parts to be junked so they are FREE to anyone who would like them - although you will have to collect (in a socially distanced capacity, of course). We are based in Southport, Merseyside.
