I have finally lost interest in my sprint after a 16 year of and on rebuild. I intend to buy a VX220 so I will be selling up on E Bay over the next few weeks the new parts I have include.

Rimmers SS Sport Exhaust
Set of + 40 Hepolite pistons
12-vane water pump (unipart)
12-vane cover
4 x GAZ shocks adjustable ride height
Oil cooler kit
Lowered updated springs
Headlining (rimmers)
Timing chain + gears + guide
4 rockers
Rocker shaft
Rear bumper
Front underiders
Rear trailing arms
Solid rack mounts
Sierra brake conversion with new callipers
Chrome trims at join of roof - rear wing
Lightened flywheel

The car is ex police and has been stripped to a bare shell it has needed new outer and middle sills (inners ok) new front wings + headlight panels + front end and I sprayed it last year (not perfect) white. The chassis rails + floor + boot floor + inner wings only needed small patches. It is a rolling shell undersealed etc.

Rebuilt parts include

Servo brake master cylinder
Heater blower
Sub frame (hard rubber bushes)
2" SUs and modified manifold

Used parts include
2 x overdrive gearboxes
3 x cylinder heads
2sets x 1"3/4 SUs + manifolds
2 x rear axles
1 block +40 (scored)
1 block not rebored
2 cranks + rods

There will be more when I start sorting out and I will be honest about the condition of parts.

The shell is currently fitted with rebuilt subframe, GAZ shocks+springs, Sierra brake mod, Rear suspension, etc if anyone wants to come and have a look and make an offer pm me. I am located in East Yorkshire.

Mick

Its a real shame when this happens, but 16 years is a long time to persevere!

Its too far for me, but good luck with the sale and all that.

I'd be interested in the Sierra conversion if original interest falls through.

Ta!

No idea how much the sierra brake conversion is worth what do you lot think. The only police kit left on it was the headlining (zips) & a bit of wiring behind the dash + for the twin alternator.

To everyone that that PMd me I intend to start listing on ebay this weekend as I dont know what stuff is worth. I have made my mind up but once I start listing its final and its taking some doing. I will start with the new stuff then start stripping bits from the car so engine bits first then brakes - shocks etc. Thanks for the intrest and sorry to let the side down.

16 years is a long time in my book to keep any car.

I only had my Sprint 5 years next month.

So dont feel to down in the mouth about it.

Thing's/time changed so maybe see you in another one soon.

Best of Luck.
