I have been tasked by the late Mr Tilson to assist Mrs Tilson in clearing his sheds, garage, loft and driveway (it’s ok, he asked me
before he passed on, not after!)
All proceeds will be going to Mrs Tilson, who in turn will be passing them to good causes.
I was shying away from the 'Ted's stuff' auction format, because it was a lot of bother, particularly loading photographs, but as they can now be loaded direct, this is how it will work:
Items will be brought back to be dispatched from my house which will allow me to photograph them and display them here, along with a deadline for bids which are to be sent to me by PM.
Now, some folk just didn't get this with Ted's Stuff; when sending me the PM do make sure you
REMOVE THE BODY OF TEXT THAT THE BOARD WILL AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDE WITH YOUR PM, just state which numbered item you are bidding on and how much you are offering. I will endeavour to update the listing with the high bid and who it is from to keep everything transparent.
Postage will be at cost for a 'signed for' service as I cannot replace anything that gets 'lost' (though some will command a slight premium for effort of wrapping) on top of the winning bid and payment will be by cheque or postal order for the winning bid payable to 'Mrs E Tilson' and separate payment
by any means other than paypal for the postage element to me. Some of the larger items will be on a collection only basis, but the point of collection may be able to vary to better suit the convenience of the winner. Items will not be released or posted until payment has been received.
Any item may be withdrawn without notice at my discretion.
Bids for instant sale of any items unsold after the initial auction period for that item has ended will be considered at my discretion any time after that auction period ends. If you hope for a bargain, then bid whilst the auction is live; I will not be giving anything away 'cheap' afterwards
The first items are as follow and bidding will end on these items at
noon on Saturday 14 April:
6. Another dolomite petrol tank showing signs of previous repair
