Hello guys
I've got Triumph Dolomite 1850 engine with gearbox.
Well equipped - Ignition, Starter, Generator even with belt, 2 Carbs , etc. - all in place.
The condition is fair.
Maybe someone needs it?

Hi Max

I am looking for a replacement 1850 engine, ideally a known good one. Have an overdrive g/b and all ancillaries

Do you have any info on its history?

Thanks pm me if you wish

Cheers
Jeff

Hi Max, I don't want to bust your bubble, but I believe that motor and certainly the gearbox, to be a refugee from a TR7, rather than a an 1850, which would make it a 2.0 litre as well. Not that the engine won't (with some mods) fit a Dolomite but the gearbox is problematic and the engine isn't a direct swap.

Sorry, Steve
