The Chris Witor 2000 back box is based on Triumphtune's Dolomite Sprint one,
however the boxes supplied by Chris are made by Pheonix.

Good luck Mart - not my choice of colour, but another stunning job mate.

A truly gorgeous colour and a 1st rate job all in.
I have read this thread all the way through and I found it very inspirational. Brilliant work.
If I was mot'ing this I would just look and enjoy.

I had the priviledge to MOT a Morris Minor Million which was in the same condition.
Being underneath it was like looking at the top. Superb!!

What a car.
Well done, and thanks for sharing it with us

Morris Minor Million
 Can't remember the last time I saw one of those, though I can usually spot replicas, such is my anorakish attention to detail. It might be that the number of 0s on the badging gives the game away on cars that are simply Minors with Lilac resprays though.

The guy who owns this one is a total classic fanatic. He has so many gorgeous vehicles you wouldn't believe it. To say they are mint is an understatement. I love looking at his collection of vehicles. He has some really old commercials, that are just mind numbingly beautiful.
His 'Million' is a real one. and I was priviliged to put my name on one of it's MOT's. I love vehicles from the 60's through to the 90's. 70's and 80's being my favourite

Looks great Mart, well done.
Now just don't ruin it and fit any chrome strips or stripes down the side

You jest of course Al?

A day later than planned (guy from the original garage phoned in sick yesterday so I took my custom elsewhere. ), THJ now has a full 12 month ticket. It originally failed on the front wheel bearings having too much play (I expect they settled during the 3 mile trip to the garage), so the garage tightened them up & did the tracking. I'm very happy as it's always a tense time waiting for the MoT test results. :jump4joy:

THJ is now back at the sprayers for him to finish off a few bits & pieces. Then, hopefully Thursday, I can bring it back home to put the front bumper & the rest of the trim & mirrors on.

Phew! finished (well near as damn it). Been trying desperately to get it ready for Castle Combe tomorrow. We went for a sedate drive this evening, with Mary at the wheel. The strange intermittent squealing noise we heard yesterday was still there so we popped back home & I jacked it up & removed the right front wheel. Spun the hub & realised it was the bottom heat shield was touching the disc. I think the MoT tester did that.
