I really hate to bring a cloud to your horizon but I hope you had better luck with the screen seal than I did.
If you used the one I gave you then its "brother" in the batch of 3 I bought from Baines is utterly rubbish. I would be so glad if you used one from another source....please please may that be the case.

Mine is cracked in the corners, lifted at the top and leaks like a sieve. Fitted 4 moths ago.

I'm considering an angry letter to baines as I write...

If yours lasts like mine we could have a joint claim.

Other than that a big "well done that man" from me.

No problems Jon

Screen seal seems to have fitted well. Even the chrome trim fits nice.

Loads of windscreen sealant used to minimise the risks of water ingress.

Fingers crossed eh?

Always happy to help keep another Triumph on the road.

All bumpers, lights etc now on.

All that's left now are C pillar vinyls, black the sills, fit boot trim, fit parcel shelf, polish the wheels and bleed the brakes. Then it's gotta go.

Bleed the brakes?

I've done all those seal wise in the year before you had it....bar the rear bias valve.

Agreed Mike. It actually looks really nice now it's all one shade. It's kinda growing on me. Can't wait to get it out for a drive.

Will be out of the workshop tomorrow :jump4joy:

Sorry Derek...I should have read back a bit...or remembered.

Its advisable to use a pressure or vacuum bleeder on these dual masters to avoid seal wear. Sure you know this.

It always drove well....so you should enjoy it.

Looks great, but what shade is that now? It's noticeably different from the Russet that you first put onto it, darker & with less redness to it, but not as dark or with as much taupe as Sienna. Is it a BL colour or a one-off? It's very tasteful whatever colour it now has.

Not sure which shade, but is very close to the original. I sent them a sample to match to after the mix up.

Will post some outdoor pics over the weekend.

Well I think it's brushed up pretty well. Still a few things to sort out such as parcel shelf, but pretty much there. Took it for a celebratory run round the block too in the sunshine. A few pics for the album.

It does doesn't it. It's also got one of the quietest Sprint engines I've ever heard.

I've actually grown quite attached to it and I've come to like Russett. Shame really.
