That's "rallyman"'s Tolly. I thought it looked familiar when I looked at the photos. This was it last June when I was up that way.

I'm glad you're returning it to standard spec. Keep the twin carb setup though.

In the pic where you are removing the engine etc complete I see a rope holding up the front of the car but where is it attached to on the body?

The rope is Suspended from the chassis legs. The subframe bolts were re inserted and the cup washers inverted on the top of them. The rope is slung off of there.

It weighs very little to be honest, Me and a mate lifted it without the rope.

Yes its rallymans old toledo. Various bits of it are for sale in the for sale section. Everything in it will be standard triumph when it is finished.

Oh Mike how could you. I was referring to the fact that it would be getting standard seats either the black triumph 1300 ones with headrests or some sprinty ones I have lying around......

Did you think a sprint engine would suit it then?

Hell everything else has been changed on the car so I might as well put a sprint engine in it if the 200TDI doesn't fit.....

The triumph oil burner with veg kit...another money saving idea...didn't someone have a v8 for sale?

Received a sprint engine today......

Pics to follow, but front subframe, engine and box are in place, thanks to Justyn for assistance and pulling his hair out as I didn't have enough to spare.

Jobs list is now

F-R Brake Lines to match sprint servo
Brake Flexis
Exhaust
Fuel line
Interior (if its in the interior it needs doing)
Wiring loom
Spin on oil filter
Head Gasket Change
Paint
Rear Axle Change
Propshaft

The list is growing faster than I knock the jobs off of it!

Well it is now. It started off as just being a lose the seats, cage and stuff and upgrade the engine to a hot 1300, but I had the other stuff already so its sort of evolving.....
