Today was the first chance I have had since getting back from Blackpool with the Tolly to do anything on her.

The Plan today was to give her a wash down and T cut and have a quick temporary clean up of the bodywork.

also try and find out why the overdrive failed to engage 50 miles from home.

Unfortunatly the weather here has been so appaling a change of plan took place and we deciced to do the inside of the car Instead.

Together me and the wife removed all the door ashtrays and emplied about 30 years worth of fag ash and buts out, then we moved onto cleaning all the glass removing lots of grime.

Next to the dash and doorcards these were the best result on the drivers door cards was some overspray that my wife spent ages removing and came up like new, so now after all this the interior looks Imaculate.

After a while the weather improved enough for me to investigate why the screen washers were not working this was found to be down to years of grime and silt in the bottle and pipes, I removed the bottle and cleaned it out using a concoction of washing up liquid and washing powder which brought it up like new.

Hopefully later on in the week the weather will improve so I can work my way onto the bodywork.

Aye and good to hear Lady Tolly is mucking in too. It always makes cleaning jobs so much less of a chore when the work is shared. (are you listening Mrs Weevil?)

Pah! Hell would freeze over, defrost and freeze over again before Mrs. Ken R went anywhere NEAR the Triumphs, never mind clean them.
