Looks perfect Rich. The colour is as striking as vermillion without the slightly vomit inducing edge - but then again I love Veedub brilliant orange.

I told you the wheels would rock.

Well done mate - a credit to you.

That has to be one of the most stunning 1300 Dollies around mate. Cracking job, cracking colour choice. Black with orange piping? Oh yes!

Unfortunately not built in real time! Ha. Was great to do and finally stepping back and seeing it is possibly the best feeling ever. Thank you for the kind words. Great to hear. I will get some wedding day shots up tonight.

That is one stunning car, Rich.

The colour works really well and the wheels and mirrors set it off nicely.

A job well done :)

Well done Rich. That is one stunning car!

I love Sprint wheels, but have to say that those are just right for your car. Different enough but not out of place. I love it.

Take care of it and enjoy driving it.

Tom.

Hi rich,

This is my first post on your blog as I have just scanned through a few resto threads today and I must add my congratulations on a job well done, and the final colour choice does suit the car very well indeed(Magenta would be my only other choice), and In my humble opinion,is the perfect choice as it's very "70's".As for the resolve you have shown to get the car to it's current state after all the extremely bad luck, can only motivate other like minded owners/fans of these great British cars to roll up their sleeves and get it done.

Well done indeed.

Lee
