This is just looking perfect...

Where is your body man located?! He looks like he knows these cars well and has great skills and an eye for detail so he could be the guy I need for my Toledo's frail body!!!

cheers chaps! Its certainly getting exciting now! Polishing is still in progress, We fitted the front screen using the original seal which was in pretty good nick. Just waiting for the tool to turn up to fit the finisher. Doors and boot are fitted and lined up. I've started refitting stuff today, door seals etc. Front door seals have completely disintegrated, where is the best source for these? The rear ones look like they will go again.
Before I refit to much trim I will be giving all the accessible areas a good going over with dinitrol cavity wax.

I managed to fit the finishing strip on my 1850 without the special tool. I used a flat bladed screwdriver and extreme care. I put the finishing strip in some hot water to make it more pliable before I fitted it.

Which door seal?
If it's the inner and outer door glass seals, go to Chris Witor, and use his fitting clips. I made a tool from a piece of scrap alloy and some blue-tac.

If it's the door seal itself, ask Chris - I'm not sure if the T2000 range is the same or not.

Well progress on the toledo has been a bit slow mostly because of the Retro Rides Gathering getting in the way!

But the windscreen rubber trim is now in, although it got slightly out of shape whilst fitting. So i;ve ordered 2 more inserts from Chris Witor, so we can have another go!

Edin Dundee: Its the rubber door seals I will be needing, although for now we have refitted the old ones, they can wait for now! Ive ordered the outer glass weather strip ones and clips from Mr Witor too.

starting to look like a car again!

I've just go to get enough bits attached to the car so I can drive it home, then I can finish bits like the door glass/winders/quaterlites at my leisure
