Just been reading through this thread mate, got to say some commitment there eh? Im only 19 and was the same when I got my Dolomite 1850 last July... cost me an arm and a leg to get her where she is though but has been worth it so far *literally touching wood table* haha. I had to change the alternator (twice), replace crap loads of hoses, clutch, overdrive..... you see where im going
Just keep with it if you can, that 4 door dark blue Toledo looks like a cracker, quite jealous really looks lovely
Good luck anyway and keep us updated!
Jack
Thankyou!
its starting to become worth it, before with the accident and the problems I just wanted my old one back, but now we (me and the guys at work) have nearly got it sorted its starting to make me forget about my old one, the drifting roundabouts in the wet is helping alot
have you got a thread for your 1850? Would quite like to see it
On another note, exhaust is blowing, changed downpipe gasket to the find out the weld has blown on the flange... Its slowly getting there, oh, and after a trip down the A14, I now have 2 stonechips above the left light, all the way down to primer
