Hey no problems mate, please don't stop posting. :(

I understand if you are limited to a phone, if you cannot resize fair enough, there is an app for Photobucket if that helps?

But as I say, please don't stop posting, I will (eventually) get around to resizing yours (and the others images).

:)

This reminds me of being 18 again! And....I still have that 1500HL.

I advise you do 4 things now:

1. Fit electronic ignition - sorts a lot of running problems out and stopped my crank rumbling.
2. Your mixture will be very lean without an air box.
3. Fit a stainless Sprint Sports exhaust (it does fit, honest) and richer needles - AAL were great in mine. The performance improvement was huge and it was still quieter than the old standard exhaust.
4. Find an overdrive gearbox as this will transform the driving experience.

I did the shells on my parents drive, when it started to snow halfway through. The sump comes off in situ and you can do one bearing at a time (including the thrust half moons).

Car now joined our garage. Collected yesterday and sitting on the trailer until the weekend when I get the keys for my new unit.

Hoping to have the engine put back together or just replaced completely as soon as possible.

Covcourier Junior is 21 this week so now able to get realistic quotes to have it as a second car for him.

Will update when we get start making progress.

Nice one! Really glad this car went to the right people - I went to look at it on saturday and thought it was a cracker! - Chris had certainly put a lot of time and effort in getting the bodywork up together -
I would of had it myself for that money, if I'd not got too much work on, and one project well under way already!

Well done fella!
