Sorry its not an "X" reg, I read the reg wrong (as you can see we have removed the number plates so its been a while since I've seen them), it has an "X" prefix and an "S" suffix which makes it an "S" reg?

Here is some progress on the Dolomite.

We have done mainly welding in structurally weak areas due to rust. :wary: The rusted areas on the sills have been cut away and replaced with new steel. The chassis legs have been plated over.

I decided to paint the underside of the car in Primer and Hammerite to help with rust - proofing. So far the engine bay and wheel arches are painted in Satin Black. :D

The bottom half of both rear headlamp panels had rusted away, so I'm currently bodging a repair of fibreglass and filler!

There has been further work on the Dolly! :D

The subframe has been rust - proofed and is ready to be put back in. The chassis legs and sills are finished and just await painting.

I have removed the rear axle to access the last bits of corrosion and to check the brake drums and the diff which seems to be leaking oil. Hopefully, I can put this back in at the weekend, along with the subframe, and the car will be well on the way to being finished!
