HELLO EVERYONE

I'm a little new to all this, but I would like to introduce myself and sid. Sid is the name of the 1968 triumph 1300 fwd which is being restored.
Sid was kindly given to me and my other half , Maria , by our good friend Bruce Jones. Although the car ran ok , it was going to need a lot of tlc, inc a total respray . I do have a few pics , and as soon as I find out how, I will down load them :?
At the moment the car is looking nice with its bright red paintwork, and trying to put all the parts back on him. The trouble I am having is that I can not find some of the parts I need , so if anyone can help me , I would be very grateful . I'm looking specifically for the front indicator units, and the last 2 sections of exhaust .
would also like to thank Nathan for all his help.

Welcome to the forum.

Although these cars have a lot in common with the Dolomite & Toledo there are still some parts which are difficult to get hold of. The club can supply exhausts so it is well worth joining. Bruce and Nathan are regular posters on here and they don't need any introduction. I'm sure they'll be posting a reply on this thread.

There is a guide elsewhere to getting photos in your forum posts. Basically, you upload your photos to a photo hosting site and then you put links to the uploaded photos in your posts and hey presto, the photos appear in your thread. It is easy once you know what you're doing.

Welcome Pete,

Glad you found your way onto here!!

If my home computer ever connects to the Internet ill post some photos
of how he looked when we had him!!

Sid was used as a daily driver by the PO's, he was only taken out of daily
use as they thought wizzing him up and down the A46 wasn't doing him any
favours, unfortunately the car went down hill once stored, Pete and Maria have now
rectified this and he looks a million dollars!!

Enjoy the forum and contact pauldaf44 for spares!!

Nathan
