Hi Matt yep getting there. Just 1 guy doing the welding helped out by his son. Once finished it will go to the same paint shop local to me that did MSO.

The guy doing the welding has bought himself the Toledo you can see in the background, he is doing lots of mods to it, he has fitted a bike engine and made up these massive brakes, should be fun once finished.

Hi Tin,

It belongs to Mick the guy doing the welding, I think he has caught the bug as he bought it after starting work on mine, I went up there at the weekend & he has bought a very rough 2 door Toledo now as well.

Cheers Murdo, I can't take the credit Mick is doing the work and is doing a great job. Yes I'd rather repair what's there if we can.
He sends me live updates as he does the work, this just in, he made a repair panel for the end of the upper front panel.

Welding is finished. Just got to fit up the doors, boot and bonnet then off to paint. Also have to make the holes in the lower front valance for the over rider brackets fitted to the early cars.

NOS bootlid and bonnet fitted up plus the doors, final bit of fettling to get everything to fit, off to the paint shop next week.
