This is the brown Sprint I have just bought , Reg number XGK 976W , Chassis number TWTLD5AT111505 which I have just found out was manufactured on the 9th July 1980 . I'm going to get it MOT'd in the next couple of weeks and then start a partial restoration over the winter , I'll keep you posted.      Chris. |

MOT at 16.00 today , All brakes working , welding sorted and everything working as it should . She's a bit lumpy at tickover but runs fine when driving . Insured today for £79 fully comp so it's all coming together ! Chris. |

Good luck. It looks like the rear exhaust mount is missing, usually a bobbin mount either on a bracket or drilled into the boot floor, unless you have it fixed on the original mounting inside the wheel arch?

The exhaust is held on with the bracket under the wheel arch and seems ok . The car passed the MOT with no problems so we're nearly there . Just waiting to get the tax sorted . Car goes really well but is a bit rough at low revs/speed . Bit of carb work to do I think . Chris |
