Fairy Liquid? makes you wonder how they get the stuff........
Like these cars that have a "powered by fairy dust" sticker on the back.....where do you get it?? is it cheaper that petrol/diesel,....I have never seen any at the pumps!!

:-k :-k :-k

It would appear to be a by-product of the process of making fairy liquid... grind them up and you get the liquid and some dust left over

Fitted the angled hose from R*mmers using the hot water ruse. Fitted just lovely. Good tip! Thanks :D

All securely tightened and just awaiting a trip to the local Halfrauds (after the Bank Hols) to get some ready mixed coolant. Hopefully then sorted.

Weird isn't it. If you need some, give me a bell before the Resto Show and I'll bring some up.

Spent a little while fettling LD this morning. Drained the coolant, removed the radiator. Flushed everything out and back flushed the rad. A bit of sediment came out but not as much as I anticipated. Mind you i flushed the rad when Andrew soldered the small pipe at the top. Will get a new bottom hose at Stoneleigh then job done.

Ken, whay wait for Stoneleigh? Steve W. can supply you with the hoses you need. Alternatively, Fitchett's can supply a hose kit which will be with you the very next day. (postal strikes notwithstanding!)

I like to haggle. Simple as that really, plus I could do with some other bits and pieces. May as well do a one stop shop.

Fitted some nice new air filters last weekend. Have taken delivery of some compomotive wheels. need refurb though. Set of 4 with decent tyres for £28. They were destined for Nellie but may make their way onto LD at some point.

What kind of Compomotives Ken? CX or something even more obscure?

By the way, whatever happened to your whitewalls, did they go on the SE when Justyn had it?
