I bought a suction cup and mounting arm for my camera, ultimately adjustable its proven ideal from the side window or front or rear 'screens but unfortunately Silverstone has a policy of mechanically fixed mounts only

So, no footage of the day from me, but here is a test run of the mount and camera (complete set up less than £200)

Of course, you must realise I couldn't possibly comment on identities of either the car or the driver!

Superb CGI there

It really sucks that I'm not in the UK to enjoy this stuff anymore!

The TR6 and Morgan are a perfect example of how not taking the right lines gets you into trouble. It's quite amusing though to follow in a similarly matched vehicle and to take the right lines and keep up without breaking into a sweat. On a track-day or the few races I managed, I would always look for that smooth driver and try and tag on for a few laps. You learn so much more than you would do by doing 20 laps on your own.

I'm really pleased that there are so many people now from the forum who are keen to get track time.

Good on you all!
