Dear All,
Hopefully you'll not mind a quick reminder that the 'All Triumph' TR Register Sprint and Hillclimb Championship is open to all four wheeled Triumph's for 2012. There are 25 events across the country. See http://www.tr-register.co.uk/comp_cal.php for the event list for 2011. We might try and add one in Surrey in mid Sept too, but that'll be up to the drivers meeting at the end of September.

The individual bogey-time method means mean that anythinng from a road-going 1300 front wheel drive dolly (I used to have a 1300tc!) through to a full race spec Sprint could in theory win the championship. There are also separate trophies for novices, anyone under 25, and fastest female.

The idea here is to try to create a critical mass of Triumph's and make as big an impact on sprints and hillclimbs as the MG lot do. We can only do this with all the clubs working together.

If there is anything I can take to the Tr Reg Championship driver's meeting, at the end of November, that might help make it more accessible for the Dolomites, please feel free to let me know.

Hope to see some Dolomites out there with us this year. My Spitfire needs some other 1300cc competition, although I did manage a faster time than a 2 litre TR7 and one of the TR6's this year. Yay!

Dale,
I will keep an eye open for the 2012 dates and venues. Loton Park is literally just down the road from me, so drop me a PM when that comes around again if you wish, for a cuppa/assistance/etc.
Regards,
Richard
