Couldn't resist putting this up. Newly listed in NZ on TradeMe. Really good value too at 2500-3000UKP equivalent.

I've raced against this at Triumph Club Sprints at Taupo, goes and handles well and I think is very nicely presented. Definitely faster in a straight line than my race Sprint. However, modified as it is I doubt it would ever be allowed in any of the 'classic' series I race in. A lot of fun for someone at a really good price.

I should have saved the description, but never thought it would sell so quickly and the listing disappear.

It has a Leyland P76 4.4L V8 motor, Holley carb, Celica 5 speed g'box, Valiant LSD and a cut down Falcon rear axle and wheels, from memory.

It will be interesting to see where it turns up next or if it just disappears into a black hole never to be seen again as so many race cars seem to.

If you Google 'Dolomite P76 V8' there's a bit more that comes up about Nigel's (ex) car.

Cos over here, there are no P76s to take engines from, nor Valiant LSDs or Falcon axles. And Celica RWD gearboxes are not exactly 2 a penny either! Though it does seem cheap by British standards, one doesn't know how rough it might be from 1 picture. It was obviously very good value though cos it sold immediately.
