Hello all. I am rebuilding a Sprint engine for fast road use. I am having the bottom end lightened and balanced along with the pistons and con rods. I have a fast road cam and a good rebuilt head ready to go. But my question is do i need to use a heavy duty clutch and if so where do i get it ? I estimate the power to be approx 140 bhp so will a standard clutch do the job ? Any advice is most welcome. I am also having the flywheel lightened by 5/7 lbs.

A standard clutch will be fine for that amount of power. You can actually get more power than that from a standard Sprint engine if built properly. What carbs will you be using?
