 Post subject: Head gasket thickness

Hello

New engine project for Gr1 is at planning stage.

Homologation gives compression ratio 10,7:1, and also combustion chamber volume is fixed, so only variable is squish distance.

New HG uncompressed thickness is 2,0 - 2,1 mm. Is there another options for gasket? Or what might be compressed thickness of this head gasket?

The gasket is about 1,2mm compressed. I alway's skim the engineblock to have the pistons sticking out to raise compression ratio.
