Took the head of my sprintalike yesterday for inspection purposes and to replace the head gasket before putting it into more regular use .I didnt find anything untoward (other than a very crusty gasket)but have a query on re-torqueing the head. I would normally torque it out radially from the centre but i'm sure i read somewhere (maybe a Triumph world article) that you could torque the slanty ones first so it pulls it across to where it wants to go before torqueing the bolts ..... Your thoughts ???
