Might be a stupid idea, but how much smaller are 1850 valves? I have a TR7 bottom end with no head so I was wondering if there is any value in putting an 1850 head on it.

Later dolly heads are the same...
Early ones had smaller zorst valves and that slot under the back two inlet ports. I think if it has no slot it has bigger valves.

Makes bog all difference IME
