Heres one fitted to a mini, surely there's room under a dolly somewhere.

Yes, I've seen those .....

I'm still not convinced they're good for throttle response. Regardless of what ever anyone has said on the internet - fluid dynamics turbine theory, and the laws of physics dictate that it will perform to a sub standard level (I'm not saying it won't and doesn't work!)

The fact that you will also have to dry-sump the turbo also has to be considered!

Not something I think I'll try...for now.

The reason Turbo's are as close as possible to the engine is to cut down on Turbo Lag.

I wouldn't waste your money on it let alone mine.

And why do they show a Dragster as nearly all the best and quickest one's are Supercharged as there's no lag at all.

Rebuilding the Sprint time taken so far, 111Hrs@15/12/2020
212Hrs @31/12/2021
352 @ 28/11/2022
455Hrs @ 20/10/2023
480Hrs @ 14/03/2024
This is time taken at the Sprint not necessary time worked.

Working on a ratio of just 7Hrs a day not including driving to the Sprint.
That equals to 68 days that doesn’t include weekends.

The saab turbo is bolted tot eh end of the exhaust manifolt. Often wondered if the exhaust manifold was inverted if ths could happen to a dolly, but then again why do it! The early saab ones were notorious for lag, especially on intercooled models, then you have the excess combustion air temp issue, and so on. Supercharged maybe an option, but will the triumph bottom end take it?
