My rear carb has started rattling (and was one of the last places I looked.. sigh). When I unscrew the damper and rest my finger on top of the piston it goes away, so I'm guessing that little collar with the ball bearings in has some play in it. Is this something particularly unusual? I've not seen it discussed before. It doesn't appear to be doing any harm - just bloody annoying!

Never seen it before.
