Sin at haste, repent at leisure, as normal. :D

Back in 2004 it didn't seem like too much of a problem that the pipe that goes between the reservoir and clutch master fell to pieces. I'm looking at making one as it seems fairly straightforward, apart from putting the bead around the solid pipe where it goes into the flexi, which I think might be possible to do with a brake flaring tool.

Anyway, I can't see what the correct size of pipes (solid and flexi) would be - does anyone have an idea?

I think the metal pipe is 1/4" brake/fuel pipe. You wont need to flare the end for the rubber pipe, it'll push on a couple of inches and with a clip wont leak. No pressure there just gravity :)

Progress is (as always) slow, but I now have the 1/4" cupronickel pipe with the correct union to screw in to the M/C. The next bit is the hose. I have a length of 7mm here of the correct type which was what my local supplier had. it's perhaps a little bit looser than I would like when it's fed over the pipe, but it's still gripping fairly well, and I would add a couple of jubilee clips too.

Would I be better off trying to find some 6mm hose (which will be very tight) or should I stick with what I have?

The latter.
(I presume the pipe is beaded?)

How long a length do you need?
I can supply the proper hose suitable for brake fluid. Including postage it will be £5 for payment
made by bank transfer or cheque.

The pipe is not beaded; I couldn't find anything to do the beading apart from:

Which seemed excessive for a single pipe.

I was going to make do with an elongated pipe and a spaced pair of jubilee clips instead of one, which should do the job as this is a low pressure connection.

I'll PM you about the hose!
