just been removing above carbs from manifold and it seemed they weren't done up to the hilt,they have very wide spring washers .
i am i right in thinking this is how they should be and this is some kind of anti vibration set up :?:

Should all have about the same gap between washers

HAVING THE MANIFOLD TOOK OUT TO THE SIZE OF THE GASKET AND MATCHED TO THE HEAD ,
ANY TIPS ON WHAT TO DO /NOT TO DO DAZ.

Get the manifold dowled to the head
Cut the thermostat off and have it remote
Have the inlet manifold gasket made of a non heat conducting material 5mm thick
have the cyl head manifold mating face machined off by 5mm for gasket
God how many more secrets do i give away :cry:
Big valve head.
I have had too many cosworth heads to do i have just about finnished one and thats took me 2 weeks
