my 15oo fwd has an oil leak from the front crank pulley (so i'm informed by my mechanic). i bought a timing cover gasket and a crankshaft oil seal (front timing cover) but he was unable to fit them as he couldn't get off whatever he needed to despite taking the radiator off. anyone any ideas what he could do to fix the leak please

Needs a crank pulley puller to get the crank pulley off, it's a bespoke tool.

Where are you located in the country???

I'm guessing that mine is probably the closest to you, I only know if 3 or 4 in the country.

It'd be bloody heavy to post.

Coming to the NEC at the weekend?

can't make the nec i'm afraid. is this an item specific to a triumph (1500). i've seen things called duck foot's for getting the crank off, would that not work?
