I am glad that I decided to take the tank out so that I could check it over and treat any rust. It is well worth doing when you are changing the rubber petrol hose from it.

It is only surface rust at this point in time but it would not take long before it became a problem.

I have just got the car back from the body shop which had it to repair the rear wheel arches, rear OS door, and the nearside chassis leg. The man who did the job was very impressed by the club panels.

Looking good in the sunshine Richard. Glad there were no nasty surprises with the tank.
