Bugger! I’ve gone and done it again. Heavy handed me has sheared the smaller of the two poles on the starter solenoid end cap on my Sprint. I can’t quire believe it, even for me that’s a pretty stupid thing to do especially after the struggle to fit the dam starter in the first place!

Anyway, my question is; can it be repaired? Can I buy the solenoid end cap? Or is it a new starter only?

Bish.

you can buy most components for starter motors including the solenoid so you shouldn't have to buy a complete unit.
depending where you are there may be an auto electrician's near you who will be able to get the parts. if all else fails Ebay..

*EDIT* I took too long typing this ;)
