My car is going for paint on the replacement front wings tomorrow, and I discovered this on a jacking point so will get this done at the same time. But what's the best way to access this point for ventilation/Dinatrol application once it's welded up?

I can't remember exactly where, but a hole drilled which can then be plugged (plastic plugs are made specifically for waxoil/dinitrol etc application)

When it is welded up stress the construction, you don't just want a 1mm steel sheet there, it needs proper reinforcement. I guess you have a quality welder lined up, so all should be fine. But always worth talking through what they will do.

It is just about possible to gain access to the front jacking point from the very front of the footwells. Drill inside here and spray away. Alternatively you could drill from inside the wheel arch and achieve much the same effect.

Drill a 10mm hole in the edge in the wheel arch then plug with a grommet.
