Hiya!

Was having a chat with Clive today, and he was under the impression someone on the forum used a Rover centre carrier for their prop shaft, for about 1/4 of the price. Has anyone given it a go?

Hi I replaced mine with a transit one a few years ago. See topic below

Has the plan to transfer the one from your shaft to the shaft I sent to you hit a snag?

Not exactly, I just was thinking a couple of things really: I would rather offer the old prop to people complete; and not needing to dismantle the old prop will save time. Not to mention running the risk the old centre carrier might not be in great condition.
