I have modelled a suitable replacement for these and printed with a 3D printer. You can see some details or download the STL ( stereolithography) file here
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5531131

They have worked so far using PLA plus material but I can't predict the durability. Manufacture using metal is possible of course. Different UNC bolt lengths are required and its all too easy to strip the threads in the manifold if poor quality ones are used.

The overall carb offset is slightly increased because I wanted to provide the maximum possible strength.

This is an image of the manifold side showing how the carb bolts are capitive.

I have used original standard gaskets but it would be possible to incorporate recesses for O rings if anyone cares to adapt the model.

The phrase "reinventing the wheel" comes to mind. The Club have been supplying alloy mounts, which last a lifetime, for decades

It's great that you had a go but I don't see these surviving very long. There is a lot of weight on these mounts besides the constant vibrations.

I didn't invent anything but having a choice is always good. Perhaps if the route to buying through the "club" was less obscure ...

To get hold of a set simply call the Club on 07769 156505 and quote your card details, then wait for the mounts to arrive a few days later - easy as falling off a log for someone with the skills to operate a 3D printer!

Thanks for the explanation. Is there a list of items available and prices? Ideally I would like to see some pictures too but I realize that's asking a lot.

Or don't become a member but pay a £27 surcharge* on top of the cost of the part.

(*£27 surcharge includes one year's free membership)
