Hi

Managed to become a dolly owner again, this time a 1980 Sprint in green gn29 colour code, been off the road some time, needs a clutch slave cylinder to get it driving, engine runs good, will require some bodywork to get it looking good again

Car was registered 24 2 1980
Chassis number AT105068

I would imagine this being a 79 built vehicle

Will get some pictures up tomorrow

Needs clutch slave cylinder sorted out, possible master cylinder. Got a wheel arch with the car, I’ve got 2 door skins, the two other doors need lower part replaced, windscreen pillars need repaired which I have mint donor ones, a few sill repairs and probably a lot more as I get into it

Looks like a good basis for a project.

Don't forget the club do master cylinders for the Sprint that have been sleeved with stainless steel for longevity....

My next step will be to join the club, I’ve been a forum member for years, I would rather restore this project with parts supplied by the club as much as possible, that way the club benefits and I can also benefit from advise and experience of the members

I’ve not made my mind up with rear Louvre on the window, retro feature but not sure if it’s what I would have fitted given the option

Looks like an interesting project!

If you decide the louvre is ultimately not your taste, i'll gladly take it off your hands! I've been after one for years!
