Having just taken delivery of my new wiring loom that has had a couple of mods done.
They mainly are around the lighting, instrumentation and additional switching.
I was wondering what would be the best matched pair, obviously I would like a bit of additional capacity from standard.
I like the look of the classic battery with the exposed plate links, wow them boys are expensive!! So maybe not.

Cheers

I'm in the process of doing an 1850. if you have room for an 063 battery then I'd go for that if not an 015 will fit, as for alternator I'm planning on going for a 65 amp as the original I believe is 45amp (I could be wrong on that).

I have fitted 65amp alternator in mine, I'm about to buy a battery so this post has come in handy :D

Trev, any chance of popping over to shoot some more video? I need some more Dolly content for my YouTube channel. The Corsa C has been keeping me busy and I've just had a Corsa D in for a service.

Of course Dave, available most evenings just give me a shout before you set off.
Not much done really, except fuel and brake lines, now on the rear loom, nearly in.

it isn't a dedicated Dolomite channel but it does have some Dolomite content. It also features the rest of my cars and any others that I work on. You can check it out HERE

Just fitted this alternator to mine, Lucas A107 type, fits perfectly, 65amp output lots of clearance to the rear, however.....had to take the rad out to get the long bolt out!! And it won’t go in the other way round either! ( Sprint ).
Available on eBay £66 thereabouts.

Chris.

This is the one I bought from a supplier I've used before, £60.....

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/18ACR-Comple ... 2749.l2649

And the 015 Battery from local suppler was £45.

Would that fit the 1500, I have moved the battery to the boot so it wont matter if its larger!

Regards

Barry

The alternator is the same size as original so will fit all the Dolomite range
