Hi All

Is the only way to adjust the idle speed on Weber 45’s to adjust the idle mixture screws? Tickover at the moment is around 1100 rpm. I would ideally like to get it a bit lower.

Any advice would be most grateful

Nigel

The idle mixture screws are for setting the idle and lower revs mixture. The idle revs are adjusted by the throttlevalve screws like SU's.

Thanks Jeroen

After a bit more investigation looks like the return springs are not returning the throttle linkage to the correct position and holding the revs up.

New springs ordered :D

Make sure its the springs and not something else stopping them closing properly. Like a butterfly moved etc
